April 2026
Dear Players and Families
I hope this message finds you all well. I am excited to officially introduce myself as the new Head Coach of the Brebeuf Jesuit Hockey Team and to begin preparing for the 2026 season.
A little about my background—I grew up in Carmel and attended Park Tudor School while playing AAA travel. I went on to play junior hockey for the Indiana Ice in the USHL. After juniors, I played NCAA Division III hockey at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and Indiana University. These experiences have shaped my approach to the game and my commitment to developing players at a high level.
Our coaching staff shares that same commitment and pride in Brebeuf hockey. The coaching staff includes my assistants:
JW Demaree
Bob Demaree
Mac Perkins
Greg Morris
Three are Brebeuf alumni who played in the program, and they bring a deep understanding of what it means to represent this team both on and off the ice.
Our goal this season is simple: develop every player to their fullest potential. That means improving skill, hockey IQ, and compete level on the ice, while also building character, accountability, and leadership off the ice. We want to create a culture that players are proud to be part of—one that emphasizes hard work, DISCIPLINE, and team-first mentality.
Looking ahead:
Spring League begins Thursday, April 16th. I’m currently building the roster, please send me an email confirming your commitment to playing. Leading up to that, we are planning to hold two prospect skates to evaluate players, set expectations, and begin building team chemistry. I’ll also be holding a parent meeting to introduce myself and my staff. More details on dates, times, and logistics for those skates will be shared in the coming week.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Go Braves,
